Crepe Amour!

Mitch's only request while we were in DC was that we stop by this little crepe store he spotted in Georgetown before we leave. It was our last meal, and probably the best, right before we rolled out of town! It was as yummy as it looks! I need to learn to make crepes like this! I attempted them on Christmas.... They were good, but didn't even come CLOSE to how good these were!

Just around the corner from the crepe store in DC Cupcakes. I've never seen the show, but caught a commercial for it on TLC at the hotel, so then I had to try one! Mitch has not caught on to the whole cupcake craze, but even he admitted they were really good!

Arlington National Cemetery

On Sunday, we visited Arlington National Cemetery and our dear friend, and neighbor, Phil Grooms. Walking the grounds was so peaceful. We left rocks on top of his headstone, so everyone would know that he was loved, thought of, and visited.

Meli's Baby Shower!

While I was in California, Cynthia Cooper, a sister from Amelia's ward, hosted her baby shower. It was so fun! She got a ton of cute things for her little future missionary.... Like this cute onesie!

Our matching baby bumps!

One of her friends made this amazing cake that tasted as great as it looked!

With some serious help, I managed to make these cute receiving blankets as part of Meli's gift. For my 1st ones ever, I think they came out pretty awesome! This one was our favorite:
And these two were Bex's favorite:

Although she couldn't make it to the shower, Liz made sure Amelia still got her shower present: "The Gas We Pass" & "Everyone Poops" (which Emily & Madison made clear it was LIZ'S idea to get) & the cute monkey bag!

All in all, it was a great time! Miss you Meli! Glad I could be there!
